intraPreneurs & the billion dreams

India today stands on the verge of entrepreneurial explosion. Its beyond doubt that next few decades that would go in transforming the great peninsula into the global entrepreneurial hub of the world would create enormous opportunities for organizations and individuals alike. That Indians have a natural entrepreneurial drive would force ensure that Indians by and large would be the biggest beneficiaries of this expected hockey stick upside.

Organizations would find opportunities on one side and employees with increasing entrepreneurial tendencies on the other. Fools will lose both and smart organizations will soon reorganize to identify such entrepreneurial sparks, would allow them what it takes and maximize their own chances of both retaining talent as well as making those millions.

To see for yourself what I am saying, try dropping in at TiE Summit to be held in December 21st - 23rd at BKC, Mumbai and meet a host of corporate executives mixing up with entrepreneurs, investors and making test pitches. You'll see the risk that I'm talking about.

Intrapreneurship is the only way ahead - the only survival code for organizations - the only hedge against the enormous wave that will entice every above average talent to try out on her own. First you lost them to unions, then you lost them to other corporates, now you'll lose them to their dreams.

She can make the millions either for you or for herself....do you have a game plan?
